Medeek Electrical Plugin / Re: Ceiling Outlets

This potential issue can also apply to generic walls or floors.  Always make sure that your faces are oriented correctly.  The electrical plugin uses that orientation to determine how to position/rotate the electrical fixtures.  Solid Inspector is your friend, and it is one of my favorite plugins.

Reverse facing did the trick; it didn't *look* reversed, but once I flipped the face it was obvious. :)

That's what I get for staying up too late messing with models. Thank you for the assist!

Click on the plane that is facing the room (facing down).  Also make sure your ceiling "group" has its faces oriented correctly.  I like to use the Solid Inspector plugin found in the warehouse.

I'm trying to add ceiling lights to a room, and they are installing backwards on the plane as a floor element. :(

What are the required settings / groups for the plugin to recognize ceilings from floors in this instance?

Thanks!

Medeek Truss Plugin / Re: Development and Updates for the Medeek Truss Plugin

Version 3.0.5 - 11.03.2021
- Added additional energy/raised heels for double fink truss (2 variants: wedge and slider).

Apparently when I added in the raised heel algorithms for this truss type a couple years ago I only added in the vert with strut option.  It was brought to my attention a couple days ago that the other two options were missing.  I apologize for the delay in making sure all three options were available for this truss type.  We should be good to go now with the double fink truss.

Version 2.4.7 - 10.24.2021
- Fixed a bug with shed walls for the following end configurations: Inside Corner, Inset Inside Corner.

This fix should resolve the issues we were seeing with the shed wall.  I probably missed these bug(s) initially because the inside corner with a shed wall is not very common and sometimes I don't test every possible permutation even though I should.

I may need to go back into the gable and hip wall modules and test them a bit further.

The shed wall tool and configuration is relatively new.  With that being said I noticed yesterday there are some issues with the shed wall and "inside corners".  I will take a look at this and rectify the situation and release another update.  Having an inside corner on a shed wall is rather rare so that is probably why this managed to get past me.
