Medeek Wall Plugin / Re: Partially see through walls
« Last post by Medeek on April 02, 2021, 05:44:42 am »
There is the manual option:

1.) Click into the group for the cladding.
2.) Click the face (exterior) that you want to manually edit.
3.) Apply the cladding material to this face.
4.) Right click on the face and mouse of "Texture", then selection "Position".
5.) User the red pin to position the image vertically on the face, this should allow you to fine tune the placement enough to make it match the other wall panels above or below the panel you are editing.

*Note:  Once you apply this manual edit any updates or edits to this wall panel will essentially reset the material on this face to the default position.

Just checking back because I am getting this issue a lot, is there a way to alter or offset the cladding to line up with adjacent walls?

Version 2.0.2 - 03.31.2021
- Added a "Draw Molding" tool to the updated Blocking/Molding toolbar.
- Added the ability to create base board, crown molding and chair rail with the "Molding" tool.
- Added additional parameters into the General tab of the Global Settings as related to moldings.
- Added an additional layer for moldings into the Layers tab of the Global Settings.

I will probably need to make a video on this new tool to help clarify its usage.

The user has the ability to add their own profiles for the various molding types, so this should make this tool fairly flexible.

Also note that the moldings are created independently of the wall panels so the tool can be used with any wall geometry, not just Medeek walls.

Version 2.0.1 - 03.27.2021
- Fixed a bug (introduced with Version 1.9.8 release) with wall presets for rectangular walls.

*** Critical Fix ***
I highly recommend updating to this latest release.  A small typo in the 1.9.8 release essentially rendered the wall presets unusable.  This fix rectifies that error and re-enables wall presets.

Version 1.6.9b - 03.26.2021
- Fixed a bug with footing extensions (polyline stemwalls) for SketchUp Pro 2021.
- Enabled hidden edges for polyline stemwalls that terminate non-orthogonally.

Yes. that is correct.
I finally assigned the serial numbers with their respective modules.

Once again, you have excelled in providing outstanding software support.
You've now gone way above and beyond most of the tech support I've dealt with in quite some time.
Have a great weekend!

The mdkBIM suite is currently composed of three extensions:  Wall, Truss and Foundation. (The new Floor plugin is still in development)

Each extension/plugin has it's own unique serial number.  When you purchased the suite you received three separate emails from the billing system with a serial number for each plugin.

You can also quickly retrieve your serial numbers at anytime by logging into the Account Manager at this link:

https://design.medeek.com/login/

To view your serial numbers click on the appropriate plugin icon and it will display the serial number for that plugin and details on the purchase(s).

I can give you all of your serial numbers but I will need to email those to you and not post them publicly here on the forum.

The serial number for the Wall plugin will not work for either the Truss or Foundation plugins.
