Version 3.4.8 - 02.04.2024
- Added a Sheathing Reset button in the Sheathing tab of the Global Settings.
- Added Dimension Layer 5 specfically for framing/elevation auto-dimensions (Layer tab of the global settings).
- Enabled editing of dimensions for framing/elevation dimensions (rectangular walls only).

Tutorial 46 - Editing Framing Dimensions (7:34 min.)

Version 3.4.7 - 02.01.2024
- Updated the Columns tab of the Global Settings with new parameters.
- Added glazing color and opacity parameters to the Sheathing tab of the Global Settings.

The Columns tab now includes Custom and Blank under Column Type.

Up until now the glass color and opacity has been hard coded in to the plugin, now the user can adjust these values if desired.

Version 1.4.1 - 01.31.2024
- Improved the serial number verification logic within the License tab of the Global Settings.
- Updated the javascript logic within the License tab of the Global Settings.
- Added standard PVC (Schedule 80) electrical conduit sizes into the custom wire library.
- Fixed a minor bug with the edit wire profile logic of the wire module.

It turns out the outer diameter and bend radius of schedule 80 conduit is the same as schedule 40, only the wall thickness is different.  I learn something new everyday.

Medeek Wall Plugin / Re: 22" Exterior Wall Framing

I would need more details when you talk about "additional structural framing parts".

I cannot stress enough that everyone should start by watching as many tutorial videos as possible:

http://design.medeek.com/resources/medeekwallplugin.pl#Videos

The plugin is now very deep and very broad with all sort of capabilities and "too many" parameters/options.  Unless you watch the tutorials you will not fully understand the power of this plugin and what it can do.

Some complain that there are too many parameters but without all of these options the plugin would not be flexible enough and sooner or later you would find yourself running into something that you wish you had an option for.

Medeek Wall Plugin / Re: Display Doors in Open State

The fourth icon from the left is the open/close tool:

The Opening Tool and Copy Opening Tool are on the Medeek Wall Tools II toolbar, they are something different.

Version 3.4.6 - 01.30.2024
- Added a "Dimension to Centerline" option for framing dimensions in the General tab of the Global Settings.
- Enabled centerline dimensioning for openings, columns and SSW for rectangular walls.
- Added a "Style 5" (Pull Plate) to the built-in door hardware options.
- Added more options for grid style window grilles: 3X4, 4X5, 5X6.

All updates per customer requests.
#39
Version 3.4.5b - 01.28.2024
- Fixed a bug with holdowns for in-wall columns.
- Fixed a bug with the bottom plate cutting algorithm for in-wall columns.
#40
Version 3.4.5 - 01.28.2024
- Added two additional column types for in-wall columns: Custom, Blank.
- Three additional parameters added for custom in-wall columns.
- Added a custom label option and annotation section for in-wall columns.
- Updated the javascript logic within the License tab of the Global Settings.

Technically this update is a bit redundant because one can already configure custom in-wall columns within the global settings.  However, this new option gives one the ability to insert any sort of column into the wall (non-wood) as well as a blank opening where one could then insert their own manually modeled column or structural support.

The custom label option applies to all column types, so it can override the auto labeling algorithm of the module.

This update per customer request.

#42
Version 1.1.5 - 01.23.2024
- Fixed a bug with the Extend Tool for groups (and components) that share the same definition.

General Forum / Re: Medeek Condoc cooperation

I haven't had the time to add any new information yet to the website.  I am also waiting on Michael Brightman to put out more videos showing how the two successfully integrate, I know that he has done some work on his end to make his tag system more compatible with my own.

Version 3.4.3 - 01.18.2024
- Improved the serial number verification logic within the License tab of the Global Settings.
- Added a Door Reset button in the Doors tab of the Global Settings.
- Added a Window Reset button in the Windows tab of the Global Settings.

Version 1.4.0 - 01.12.2024
- Added a "PIPE" shape to the wire module for electrical conduit.
- Added an additional parameter for custom wires (conduits/pipes) within the library: Wall Thickness.
- Added standard PVC (Schedule 40) electrical conduit sizes into the custom wire library.

Note, that previous custom wire libraries will not be compatible with this latest update.  If you have an extensive library already established please contact me directly with step-by-step instructions on how to bring an older wire library into this latest version of the plugin.

The dimensions for the OD, wall thickness and bend radius were taken directly from CANTEX and JM Eagle literature, and should match exactly the standard specs for SCH40 PVC in the American and Canadian markets.
